Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil

Helichrysum Essential Oil is also known as Immortelle Essential Oil and Everlasting Essential Oil. It is steam distilled from the flowers of Helichrysum italicum harvested in Hungary.

Although it is distilled from flowers, its aroma is not one that we would consider "floral" in nature. It possesses a distinctive aroma with tea, honey and sweet woody characteristics.

Due to its Hungarian origin, this exceptional Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil contains approximately 2% geraniol. Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil sourced from Corsica or other Mediterranean countries usually contain only trace amounts of Geraniol, if any. Geraniol, a monoterpenol with a delicate, rose-like aroma, is more commonly found in essential oils such as geranium, rose, and palmarosa. When smelling our Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil, you may not detect the presence of geraniol because it's extremely subtle. However, we believe it contributes to the beautiful aroma of this remarkably beneficial oil.
