FD&C Green #3 Water Soluble Liquid is a pre-mixed water based liquid dye. Great for soaps, bath salts, bath bombs, body powders, and other water based or dry formulations. Add to your water phase drop by drop until you get the desired color.

Not for use in eye or lip products.

FNWL uses the standardized name for this color additive. Standardized names, however, can sometimes be vague. In our experience, Green #3 is a blue-green hue with a predominantly blue tone. It may be slightly more blue in shade than Green #5. The amount of colorant that you use will affect the intensity and vibrancy of the hue.

Please Note: Monitors vary in the way that they render colors. The color of this product may differ slightly from the color that you see on your monitor screen.

Comments: This color was blue not green in any way.

FNWL Response: Diane, indeed, this particular additive resembles a blue-green or aquamarine, depending on the amount of dye used. We go by the standardized name for the color additive, but also include photos to demonstrate the what the final color resembles when used in an actual product.
